I have been working with dogs for over 30 years & have been working in law enforcement for over 35 years. I was a Police K9 Instructor and handler in the U.K and am now a Trainer/handler in Search & Rescue as well as running my K9 training business.  I am a Canadian National evaluator for Disaster Search & Rescue dogs and am also an instructor for Colorado Rapid Avalanche Deployment where I train puppies to become Avalanche Dogs. I believe in balanced training with a focus on positive reinforcement. I understand that every dog will have their own individual needs and my training plans are always tailored accordingly. I am very knowledgeable in all aspects of dog behaviour and can provide 1 on 1 training as well as Dog Board & Train services. We also offer fully insured, reliable and trustworthy dog walking services.

I am a huge animal lover and had various pets when growing up in the UK, including dogs.

After emigrating to Canada in 2008 I was able to escape the mundane world of banking and fulfill my dream of working with animals. My first job was working at the Cochrane Humane Society in Alberta as an Adoption Specialist. I went on to manage a Vet clinic where I obtained a certificate in low stress dog handling.

I am really excited to continue my passion for working with dogs in the Annapolis Valley and surrounding areas.

My Mom & Dad adopted me from the Cochrane Humane Society in 2015. I used to go to work with my Mom at the Vet Clinic where  I earned the name ‘Boss Dog’ as my job was too supervise her!

I am now retired and enjoy spending time with my sister Glory and sometimes boss her around too! I love going for walks and chasing squirrels.

I am a Level 2 Certified Disaster Search and Rescue dog. I am currently a member of Canada Task Force 5 K9 team here in Halifax and before that I was a member of Canada Task Force 2 in Calgary. I am one of 21 dogs in Canada that are certified to respond to Disasters in Canada at a Federal Level. I am also a member of Vancouver Island Search Disaster Dogs of Canada who can deploy to International Disasters around the world. I have a great off switch and I love being at home,  snuggling on the couch, playing fetch and watching TV.
